Springtime in the Garden of Holland River Cruise

Join our cruise along the Dutch waterways where we visit the most beautiful spring garden in the world: Keukenhof, filled with 32 hectares of colour and fragrance. There are over 8 million tulips with over 2000 varieties. You will be totally amazed by the arrange of stunning colours. We also visit the Amsterdam, so called ‘the Venice of the North’. From its picturesque canals and bridges toits historic homes, Amsterdam could be considered straight out of a fairytale.

Day 1

UK TO ANTWERP
Depart home area to Dover for our channel crossing to France. We continue travelling through France and into Belgium and arrive early afternoon in Antwerp with free time before we board our ship. After comfortably settling into our cabins, we are invited to meet up in the lounge for a welcome cocktail and to meet the crew before your evening meal.

Day 2

ANTWERP TO ROTTERDAM
This morning enjoy a walking tour of the old city of Antwerp in company of our ship's hostess We spend the rest of the day cruising crossing small inland seas and immense locks to reach Rotterdam in the evening. Enjoy an evening of entertainment after dinner tonight.

Day 3

ROTTERDAM TO KEUKENHOF TO HUIZEN
This morning we depart for Keukenhof Gardens, the most beautiful spring garden in the world. Today our ship will provide us with a packed lunch. There are around 8 million tulips bulbs in bloom each spring in Keukenhof, with approx. 2000 varieties of tulips. A unique and unforgettable experience. Visit the indoor pavilions with fantastic displays. Try a piece of Dutch apple pie with cream. Afterwards we visit Rudi's flower stall where you can purchase discounted bulbs. We return to our ship in Huizen. Tonight, is our Gala Evening.

Day 4

HUIZEN TO AMSTERAM TO ZAANSE SCHANS TO LELYSTAD
Enjoy a free morning in Amsterdam. There will be opportunity to for a canal ride along the waterways of Amsterdam; this is the best way to see Amsterdam (approx. 20 Euros per person). Browse the many shops, including C & A's. We return to the ship for lunch and afterwards we visit Zaanse Schans, a residential area in which the 18th and 19th centuries are brought to life. People still live here. Stroll past the bakery museum and enjoy the fresh smell of cookies or look at the warehouse where clogs are made. You should be sure not to miss the cheese factory, pewter foundry, and the various windmills. Return to ship for our evening meal.

Day 5

After breakfast we bid farewell to the crew and make our way to Clara Maria's Cheese Farm and Clog Factory, where you will be given entertaining demonstrations on the old tradition of making world-famous clogs and the cheese they make on their farm. Afterwards opportunity to sample many of the cheese they produce. They have a wonderful gift shop where you can buy that last gift for your friends/family. We continue with a stop enroute for lunch before arriving in Calais for our return channel crossing.

MS LA BOHÈME

The MS Bohème offers amenities and provides guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. The refined decoration and the elegant and friendly atmosphere are in perfect harmony with its environment. Located on the upper deck is the restaurant, all meals are served here, the large windows offer panoramic views as we sail. On the same deck is the lounge/bar and dance floor. The sun deck offers comfortable sun loungers and a large, shaded area.
