Our recommendations would be to visit Salisbury Cathedral (entry extra), where you’ll find the best preserved of the four original Magna Carta manuscripts dating from 1215AD. Then take a walk through the hustle and bustle of the Charter Market, held every Saturday in Salisbury Market Place. This historical market has run since 1227 and comprises of approximately 70 stalls. It offers a wide range of goods including food, clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, flowers and plants, and collectables to name a few. There are also an enticing range of tea and coffee shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy a delicious lunch.
