Day 1

We travel to Newark, a historic market town on the River Trent, where tales of sieges and secrets linger in the air. Enjoy time to explore and obtain lunch before we continue to our hotel.

Day 2

Halloween We travel across the mysterious North York Moors, a landscape steeped in legend. As we make our way to Thirsk on market day*, our Tour Manager will share eerie stories of strange happenings upon the moors. Later, return to Scarborough for free time before nightfall beckons with a Ghost Walk through the town’s shadowy lanes - where restless spirits and dark secrets await.

Day 3

After breakfast, we visit haunted York. Wander the twisting Shambles, and those who dare enter the Treasurer’s House (entry extra), where ghostly Roman soldiers march through the cellars.

We bid farewell to Yorkshire, returning home with only pleasant spirits in tow!
