We stay at the fabulous 4 star Hotel Catalonia Las Vegas, Puerto De La Cruz which has a fantastic location on the seafront and only a 5 minute walk from the beach. It is in the heart of Puerto de laC ruz, next to the famous Lago Martíanez. All bedrooms have a terrace or balcony which give you incredible views of the sea or Mount Teide. Relax in the heated outdoor pool area with sun loungers and snack bar and poolside bar. Palm trees and tropical blooms sprawl throughout the hotel’s grounds. There are two bars for evening

drinks, one which hosts entertainment including live music and cabaret.

Day 1

We depart home area and travel by coach to Gatwick Airport for our morning flight to Tenerife. Karen will be with us to ensure we are all checked in before going through security. After security, you are invited to stay with Karen, who will show you which Gate to go to for your flight and to purchase breakfast in one of the Airport’s eateries. Flight time is approx. 4hrs. Upon arrival
at Tenerife Airport a transfer bus will be waiting for us to take us to our hotel. Time to freshen up and relax. Tonight, we will meet up for dinner.

Day 2

Today will be a complete day of relaxation. Take the opportunity to sunbathe around the hotel’s outdoor heated pool. Why not book a massage? After breakfast, meet up with Karen for a walk into the old town where there is diverse range of shops, bars and eateries nearby. We will try out one of the bars together. Rest of the afternoon is yours free to enjoy. Take a walk along the
promenade and after dinner we are invited by the Entertainment Team to the Show Bar for a live music cabaret.

Day 3

Today join Karen on an optional ‘Whale Watching Catamaran Cruise with Food.’ (£62 per person). We will be picked up from our hotel for our 3-hour cruise. Nature lovers will enjoy this small group whale watching cruise. Enjoy views back to the coast and mountains of Tenerife while looking out for whales and dolphins. You can even don a snorkel and mask and have a swim
if you like! Tapas-style snacks will be provided on board. (This excursion is limited to 15 persons, so please book early.)

Day 4

Today, after breakfast join Karen on an optional ‘Teide Tour and Optional Cable Car Ticket’. (£65 per person) Teide National Park is home to Mount Teide, Spain’s tallest peak at 12,198 feet. We will be picked up from our hotel and head to the park, known for its extraordinary, lunar landscapes. For an upgrade you can take the cable car to the Rambleta observation point and enjoy time at leisure to soak up the views. We return to our hotel to relax before our evening meal following by the hotel’s evening entertainment.

Day 5

After breakfast enjoy a free day. Opportunity to visit Costa Martiánez, situated opposite our hotel. It is popularly known as a set of pools by the sea, but also a garden and an open-air sculpture museum. A leisure space where the sea, nature, art and architecture go hand in hand boasting unparalleled views of the sea and Mount Teide.Tonight another evening of entertainment
awaits us after our evening meal.

Day 6

Today, optional 10-minute Taxi ride to Castillo de San Felipe. This 16th century fortress is situated next to Playa Jardin. You can walk the battlements, stand by the lone cannon,
and take in the spectacular scenery. We take a walk along Playa Jardin beach. This is one of the most famous beaches in the region and was designed in the 1990s by the famous Canarian artist, Cesar Manrique created to guarantee rest and relaxation. Even just getting to the beach, via gardens full of local plants with pathways that take you between stone walls and waterfalls is the perfect way to start your relaxing day. The beach offers incredible views of Mount Teide. We return to our hotel with time to relax before tonight’s dinner followed by a night of entertainment.

Day 7

Today we enjoy a free morning before our optional excursion’ ‘Tenerife Bodegas Monje Winery Tour with Wine and Cheese Tasting’ (approx. £39 per person). Tenerife’s tradition
of viticulture stretches back to medieval times and its volcanic soils give its wines a rich flavour. We visit one of the Island’s top wineries, the family-run Bodegas Monje, to learn about and sample some signature wines. We savour 4 wines alongside artisanal local cheeses as you absorb the winery’s heritage and sea and mountain views. We return to our hotel for a free time before our last evening meal and evening entertainment.

Day 8

This morning after breakfast at approx. 10am, our coach picks up from our hotel to take us to Tenerife Airport for our return flight home to Gatwick.
