The Beaufort Park Hotel in Mold provides a warm, friendly base with comfortable rooms and a relaxed atmosphere. Its convenient location and homely charm make it an ideal choice for a peaceful and enjoyable short break.

Day 1

We visit the charming cathedral city of Lichfield before continuing to our hotel, where a warm welcome of tea, coffee and Bara Brith awaits. Settle in and enjoy your evening meal.

Day 2

Today we head to the historic walled town of Conwy, where you can explore the harbour, browse independent shops or simply enjoy the views. We then continue to Beaumaris, a delightful seaside town perfect for a relaxed stroll along the front or time in a local café, before returning to the hotel.

Day 3

Enjoy a day at leisure. You may wish to visit nearby Mold with its shops and popular market, explore Loggerheads Country Park, or discover Wepre Park and Ewloe Castle. Alternatively, relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities.

Day 4

Enjoy a scenic drive through Snowdonia National Park, with stops in Ruthin and Betws-y-Coed. Take in the breathtaking scenery, browse the shops or enjoy a peaceful walk before returning to the hotel for your final evening.

We visit the National Memorial Arboretum before beginning our journey home, taking with us fond memories of North Wales.

Conwy

A beautifully preserved medieval town, Conwy is known for its impressive castle, historic town walls and picturesque harbour. Wander the cobbled streets, explore independent shops or simply enjoy the views across the estuary.

Beaumaris

Located on the Isle of Anglesey, Beaumaris is a charming seaside town with a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy a stroll along the front, take in views across the Menai Strait or relax in one of the many cafés.

Snowdonia National Park

One of the UK’s most breathtaking landscapes, Snowdonia offers dramatic mountain scenery, rolling valleys and peaceful countryside. Sit back and enjoy the views as we travel through this stunning region.

Betws-y-Coed

Often described as the gateway to Snowdonia, Betws-y-Coed is a picturesque village surrounded by woodland and rivers. It’s the perfect place to browse local shops, enjoy a riverside walk or simply take in the scenery.

Ruthin

A historic market town with a charming character, Ruthin features attractive buildings, a traditional square and a relaxed pace, ideal for a gentle explore.

Mold & Surrounding Area

Close to your hotel, Mold is a lively market town with a strong local feel. Nearby, you’ll find beautiful countryside and attractions such as Loggerheads Country Park, offering peaceful walks, and Wepre Park, home to the ruins of Ewloe Castle.
