of Gibraltar from Spain. We stay at Agadir, blessed with a crescent of wide, golden sand, Agadir is Morocco’s premier beach resort. Situated on the Atlantic Coast, the shore is lapped by calm and tranquil blue seas, and the wide, spacious boulevards are lined with palm trees. With a pleasant climate, Agadir enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year, making it the ideal place to soak up some winter sun.
Day 1
We depart home area and travel by coach to Gatwick Airport for our flight to Agadir. Karen will be with us to ensure we are all checked in before going through security. Upon arrival at Agadir Airport, we will have time to purchase the local currency before our transfer shuttle bus to take us to our hotel. Upon arrival at our hotel enjoy a welcome drink of mint tea whilst our luggage is taken to our room. Karen will arrange a time where she will show you around the hotel and its grounds and will inform you what time she has booked dinner for us all. Before dinner, join Karen for a drink on the sun terrace. After dinner the hotels entertainment team will be putting on a show for us to watch.
AIDay 2
Today you can enjoy a day of complete relaxation. Take the opportunity to sunbathe around one of the pools or on the hotel's private beach. Why not book a massage? Or join Karen to Agadir Market. (Approx 10 minutes away). One of the biggest souks in Morocco. This authentic traditional market features over 6,000 shops in the centre of Agadir. Karen will help you haggle the prices down which the sellers expect. Karen will arrange taxis to take us at 10am and to pick us up at 1pm. Extra cost of approx. 50 dinar per person (£4). We return to our hotel for our included lunch. Rest of the afternoon is yours free to relax or take a walk along the promenade to Agadir Marina. If you would like to join Karen on the sun terrace for a pre-dinner drink before your evening meal you are welcome. Enjoy another evening show tonight after dinner by the hotel's entertainment team.
AIDay 3
Join Karen on an optional 'Full Day Safari Small Desert' with lunch tour (£75 extra). Early booking advised as the tour can only take 15 people. We explore a remote beach, the walled city of Tiznit, Sahara sand dunes, and Youssef Ben Tachfine dam on this full day trip from Agadir through the Moroccan countryside. We will be invited to dine on tajine or couscous, fresh fruit, and mint tea in a Berber home. This is a chance to experience Morocco's long tradition of hospitality. This tour will be approx. 7 to 8 hours in total.
Day 4
Today enjoy another tour of relaxation along the beach or hotel's facilities. Or join Karen on an Agadir Fishing Boat trip including lunch. (£75 extra per person). Let yourself be tempted by a gourmet day with Moroccan food and enjoy the superb view of the coast of Agadir from a boat. Transport shittles will take us from our hotel to the sublime marina. The cruise will anchor twice. First stop for fishing (equipment provided), second stop is for swimming and food. The crew will barbeque fresh fish and is served to us with a salad. The boat staff are very friendly, and it is a lot of fun.
AIDay 5
Today join Karen on an optional excursion to the magical and historical city of Marrakesh (approx. £75) for a guided day trip. We depart our hotel at approx.7am. It takes approx. 3 hours to Marrakesh from our hotel. We will make a refreshment/toilet stop on the outward and return journey. Marrakesh, a city of vibrant hues and rich heritage, welcomes travellers with an array of captivating experiences. The historic Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, unfolds with narrow alleys, bustling souks, and traditional riads. Jemaa el-Fnaa Square enchants with street performances. Explore the majestic Koutoubia Mosque, while the Majorelle Garden offers a tranquil escape with its botanical beauty. Dive into the lively souks for traditional crafts and spices, savouring Moroccan cuisine in local eateries. The city's spirit is encapsulated in its historical gems, vibrant markets, and the warmth of its people, ensuring an unforgettable sojourn. This tour will be approx. 12 hours in total.
AIDay 6
Today enjoy a day of relaxation on the beach or around the hotel's pools.
AIDay 7
Today we have an optional private tour to Paradise Valley and Taghazout with Karen (£65 extra). We drive north to the banana village then take the road to the Hight Atlas Mountains. We stop for light refreshments by riverbeds surrounded by the gorges fabulous rock formations - a natural botanic garden. Enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of Paradise valley, a visit to the Taghazout village then back to Agadir. This tour will be approx. 5-6 hours. We return to our hotel with time to pack and meet up on the sun terrace for some drinks and to discuss our weeks activities and we are sure there will be some funny stories to tell.
AIDay 8
This morning after breakfast our coach will pick us up from our hotel to take us to Agadir Airport for our return flight home to Gatwick where our coach will be waiting to take us home.

Surrounded by lush gardens and palm trees, this luxurious beachfront resort is near the walled quarters of La Médina d’Agadir and the ancient ruins of Agadir Oufella. A deposit of £250 is required for these holidays with final payment due 120 days prior to travel. Passport details will be requested at time of booking.
