Longleat at Christmas & Winchester

& Winchester Christmas Market

Each winter, Longleat transforms the park into a glowing winter wonderland. With a different theme each year, wonderful characters are displayed around the grounds to create an amazing, illuminated spectacle. Winchester Christmas Market is a must visit destination for all those wishing to experience a traditional Christmas market, with over 100 attractive wooden chalets.

Day 1

Stop in Marlborough for lunch to be purchased enroute to our hotel where we have a cup of tea/coffee on arrival.

Day 2

After breakfast travel to Longleat. We start with a journey around the Safari Park by coach to enter a land of adventure where lions roam, tigers stalk and monkey’s swing. Afterwards time to purchase lunch before entering the Festival of Light. There are refreshment facilities throughout Longleat.

Day 3

Today we visit Winchester, inspired by traditional German Christmas markets the authentic wooden chalets are situated in the Cathedral’s historic Inner Close, selling a range of tempting seasonal treats and delightful Christmas gifts, there are also many shops to wander around and plenty of restaurants and cafes for lunch to be purchased.

Day 4

After breakfast travel back to home area, stopping in Windsor for lunch to be purchased.

The rooms are stylish and you can feel relaxed with a drink in the bar/lounge area before your evening meals. Please note: Hotel does not have rooms with walk-in showers.
