Koln Christmas Market

Every year, the city centre of Cologne is touched by the magic of the festivities in the run-up to Christmas. Cologne’s Christmas markets attract millions of visitors from all over the world every year. You too can savour the unique atmosphere of this metropolis on the Rhine at this special time of year. You’re sure to be enchanted! Koln has 6 markets for you to choose from and the famous Schildergasse is well worth a visit.

Day 1

Travel to Folkestone for the Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. From Calais head to Cologne making suitable comfort stops along the way. Time to purchase our evening meal in Cologne after checking into the hotel.

Days 2 & 3

Breakfast is included. Spend these days at leisure exploring the magical Christmas Markets in Cologne. Cologne is the capital of the Rhineland and one of the largest cities in Germany. It is most magical at Christmas time, when the Christmas markets open and the shop windows are filled with Christmas offerings: arts and crafts, gifts and decorations not seen before, revealing another side to this historic and beautiful city. There are 6 Christmas markets situated around Cologne, so we are spoilt for choice. There are also many restaurants in this city for our evening meals to be purchased.

Day 4

After breakfast return to Calais making suitable comfort stops, for the return Eurotunnel crossing to Folkestone. Arrive back to home area early evening.

This fabulous 4-star hotel in central Cologne provides excellent panoramic views of the River Rhine. It features elegant accommodation, featuring a spa with a gym and indoor pool.
