This Reunion includes exciting excursions to Rye, Hastings, Brighton, experience the magic of Brighton Pavillion and free time to explore Eastbourne at our own pace. On Thursday afternoon, well host a fun and lively reunion gathering featuring a game of bingo with the chance to win a holiday, a fancy dress parade with fantastic prizes, and an entertaining awards ceremony.
Day 1
Depart from home area and travel to Eastbourne, with a stop in the charming town of Tenterden for lunch (to be purchased). Nestled in the heart of Kent, Tenterden is renowned for its cobbled streets, picturesque high street lined with historic buildings, and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, offering a perfect glimpse of timeless English heritage. After lunch, we'll continue our journey to the hotel, where we'll have time to relax before enjoying a delicious evening meal, followed by live entertainment.
DDay 2
Today, after breakfast, we head to the heart of Brighton and step back in time and experience the opulent splendour of the Royal Pavilion, one of the most distinctive landmarks in the UK. This exotic palace, built for King George IV, combines stunning Indian and Chinese architectural influences with Regency elegance. With its dazzling domes, ornate interiors, and lush gardens, the Pavilion is a truly unique sight. As we wander through its beautifully restored rooms, we’ll be transported to a bygone era of royal grandeur, while learning about its fascinating history. Afterwards, we'll have free time to enjoy a leisurely lunch and explore the charming Lanes, a maze of boutique shops, cafes, and unique store as well as the amazing array of shops Brighton has to offer. We return to our hotel with time to relax before our evening meal followed by evening entertainment.
B, DDay 3
After breakfast, join us on a delightful coach excursion to two of the most charming and historic towns on the South East Coast, Rye and Hastings. Our first stop will be the picturesque town of Rye, where we’ll be enchanted by its cobbled streets, quaint shops, and beautiful medieval buildings. Stroll along the famous Mermaid Street, lined with historic timber-framed houses, and take in the stunning views over the surrounding countryside. After a leisurely visit to Rye, we’ll head to Hastings, a traditional seaside resort with a fascinating mix of old and new. Spend some time in Hastings Old Town with plenty of time to explore, shop, or simply enjoy a cup of tea by the sea. Whether we're interested in history, nature, or just soaking in the stunning views, this day trip promises to be a memorable experience for all. We return to our hotel for our evening meal followed by evening entertainment.
B, DDay 4
Spend a relaxing morning at leisure in Eastbourne, with the opportunity to take a scenic stroll along the stunning promenade and visit the iconic pier. The town's charming shops are just a short 10-minute walk from the hotel, and Eastbourne is renowned for its beautiful Victorian architecture. At 1:30 pm, join us in the Ballroom for our Reunion gathering, where we can enjoy fun games and competitions, including an optional fancy dress event, followed by a lively Awards Ceremony. This evening, we’ll come together for a final dinner, before enjoying a last night of delightful entertainment to cap off a memorable stay.
B, DDay 5
We depart our hotel and make our way homeward stopping in Polhill Shopping Village, near Sevenoaks for lunch to be purchased
