Isle of Wight Entertainment Break

Quite literally a stone’s throw from the golden beach and with panoramic views of Sandown Bay, the Trouville Hotel is the perfect location for a well-deserved break. The Restaurant offers an extensive choice for your three courses every evening and all waitress served. There is a large bar/lounge area in which to relax in and enjoy a pre/after dinner drink and the hotel has the largest ballroom on the Island where live entertainment is held each evening.

Day 1

We travel to the Isle of Wight making suitable refreshment stops on route. We arrive at our hotel with time to relax before our evening meal.

Day 2

After breakfast, we visit the old village of Shanklin, famous for its award-winning tea rooms and quaint shops before continuing to pretty Godshill with its charming thatched cottages and delightful shops. The Old Smithy is a lovely gift shop and café selling an amazing array of cakes. We return to our hotel for a bar lunch, the afternoon is free to spend in Sandown, with its flat promenade and pier or just relax in the Hotel’s lounge overlooking Sandown’s Bay. An evening of entertainment after dinner.

Day 3

After breakfast we visit Ryde, one of Queen Victoria’s favourite towns, overlooking the Solent and home to speedy hovercrafts. We return to our hotel for our bar lunch. This afternoon we visit family-owned Busy Bees, an award-winning garden centre, a gift and hobby craft shop, locally produced food area and of course plants which are grown in their onsite nursery. Evening meal is followed by party night with included drinks from 8pm to 11pm.

Day 4

A free morning, followed by our bar lunch. In the afternoon we travel along Military Road with glorious views of the English Channel and visit Isle of Wight Pearl, we then continue to Yarmouth a town filled with quaint cafes, shops and galleries on the main square overlooked by a stunning 17th century church, visit the pier and maybe enjoy a crab sandwich in the cafe. Evening meal is followed by our last night of entertainment.

Day 5

After breakfast, we depart for home making suitable refreshment stops.

TROUVILLE HOTEL ***

The 3-star Trouville Hotel has a prominent position overlooking the glorious Sandown Bay. There is a lovely lounge area to relax in or to enjoy a pre- dinner drink before our evening meal. There is superb choice of evening meals served by friendly waiting staff.

There is a lift to all floors, however the lift is small and unable to take mobility scooters.
