Emmerdale Weekend Break

Day 1

We depart home area and travel to Stamford for our lunch stop. This beautiful limestone town has been used for many period dramas and films. Take a Look around the shops and time to purchase lunch before continuing to our hotel. We arrive with time to freshen up before our evening meal.

Day 2

We depart our hotel after breakfast and make our way to Harewood House (where Emmerdale is filmed), for our Emmerdale Village Tour for an unforgettable experience, taking you behind the scenes of Emmerdale. Walk in the footsteps of your favorite characters and explore the external village set of Emmerdale, getting closer to some of the iconic places you love from the show. Hear exciting behind-the-scenes secrets from the live working production set, that can't be heard anywhere else! See The Woolpack, Café Mainstreet and David's shop. Afterwards we head to Skipton situated on the edge of the Yorkshire dales National Park. It is market day today, so an opportunity to browse the many stalls. Skipton is also famous for its fish and chips at Bizzie Lizzies, so treat yourself! There are also many shops and eateries to tempt you. We return to our hotel for our evening meal.

Day 3

This morning, we visit the delightful town of Haworth, famous the world over for its connections with the Bronte sisters, the famous novelists. Haworth is full of character and has a traditional cobbled main street on an incline. There are some fabulous independent shops, including handmade chocolates, independent art galleries, jewelers and eateries to obtain refreshments. We then continue to Keighley for a train ride on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. It is a 5-mile-long heritage railway line in the Worth Valley and takes us to Oxenhope. The train famously features in 'The Railway children'.

Day 4

We depart our hotel and return to home area stopping at Boundary Mills, Grantham, where everything is under one roof. There is a restaurant on the 1st floor (accessible by lift or stairs) and a café on the ground floor. There is a great selection of retailers selling clothes all at discounted prices to gifts, homeware and footwear.
