Day 1

We depart home area and travel to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, time to obtain lunch before continuing to our hotel. Upon arrival, cream tea with tea or coffee will be served in the lounge while luggage is taken to the rooms. An opportunity to unwind before evening meal in the hotel restaurant.

Day 2

Christmas Eve
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Liverpool, a city brimming with festive cheer. The trip includes a visit to the renowned Liverpool Christmas Market at St George’s Plateau. Stroll through the wooden stalls, admire the twinkling lights, and enjoy seasonal delights such as mulled wine, gingerbread, and festive street food. A selection of unique gifts and crafts is also available for those seeking Christmas shopping inspiration. In addition to the market, there will be time to explore Liverpool’s iconic landmarks, including the historic Albert Dock and the waterfront. Upon returning to the hotel, a mince pie and a hot drink will be ready in the lounge. Dinner will be served in the restaurant, followed by an evening of board games in the lounge.

Day 3

Christmas Day - Happy Christmas!
After breakfast Father Christmas may make a surprise visit with gifts for those who have been good. The morning offers time to relax or make use of the hotel’s leisure facilities. Later, enjoy a pre-lunch drink before a traditional Christmas meal with all the trimmings, served in the Royal Suite Foyer. Following lunch, tea, coffee, and Christmas cake will be available in the lounge. The afternoon provides an opportunity to rest or take a leisurely stroll around the hotel grounds. This evening a Christmas Day buffet.

Day 4

Boxing Day
After breakfast, travel to Chester, a historic city renowned for its Roman heritage and charming streets. The itinerary includes time to visit Chester Cathedral and explore the unique two-tiered medieval Rows, as well as the city’s Roman walls and amphitheatre. On our return to the hotel, afternoon tea with mince pies are served in the lounge. The evening includes a final meal in the restaurant, followed by entertainment.

We depart our hotel and make our way homeward stopping in the medieval city of Lichfield.
