Day 2

Today we visit the nearby vibrant city of Stirling, known as the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’. Stirling is full of character and steeped in history. Visit Stirling Castle, once Mary Queen of Scots’ favourite residence and site of the first human flight attempt in 1507. Our return journey includes a stop at Helix Park, home of the remarkable Kelpies 30-metre-tall horse sculptures by artist Andy Scott, a monument to Scotland’s industrial heritage. Another evening of entertainment awaits back at the hotel.

Day 3

We take a scenic drive along Loch Lomond in The Trossachs National Park to Tarbet, where we board a boat for a 90-minute cruise, soaking up Loch Lomond’s magnificent scenery. Afterward,
we return to the hotel, with the afternoon free for relaxation or an optional excursion to Loch Lomond Shores, a chic lochside mall with upscale boutiques, a department store, and cafes. Tonight is Quiz Night!

Day 4

After breakfast, we travel through the Trossachs, Scotland’s smallest National Park, to Inveraray, a charming town famous for Inveraray Castle (featured in Downton Abbey’s Christmas special).
Enjoy time to explore the quirky shops, including a famous whisky shop, and places to obtain lunch. We then continue through the National Park to Callander, a pretty town between the Highlands and Lowlands on the River Teith. After dinner, we enjoy our last night of entertainment.
