Turkey & Tinsel in Eastbourne

Chase away the Winter blues and get into the festive spirit on the Sussex coast staying at the welcoming 4-star family run Langham Hotel situated on Eastbourne’s Sea Front. Eastbourne has unspoilt Victorian architecture from its hotels to its elegant pier. Visit the award-winning Towner Art Gallery and visit one of the many excellent shops Eastbourne has to offer.

Day 1

‘Christmas Eve’ We depart home area and make a suitable comfort stop at the Pantiles in Royal Tunbridge Wells. The Pantiles are lined with lovely old shops and tea rooms. We then continue to Battle for lunch to be obtained before we arrive at our hotel. Time to freshen up before we meet in Langham’s Bar for a complimentary glass of Mulled Wine followed by our evening meal. Afterwards we enjoy some live music.

Day 2

‘Christmas Day’ After breakfast we visit the impressive town of Lewes, nestled amongst the beautiful South Downs. Enjoy some time at leisure before continuing to Brighton. Perhaps you’ll visit the Royal Pavilion (entry extra), or Brighton’s historic quarter, which has an extraordinary mix of shops. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés to choose from for lunch to be purchased. Tonight, enjoy a Christmas dinner and a special visit from Santa with a gift for everyone. Followed by more live music.

Day 3

Today we have a day at leisure in Eastbourne. Enjoy a walk through the town (approx. 15 minute walk), visit the pier, the shops or the town’s art gallery. This afternoon we enjoy a tea or coffee and a mince pie in the hotel. After dinner there will be musical entertainment.

Day 4

‘New Years Eve’ Today we head to the medieval town of Rye, home to a myriad of art, curiosities, and cozy pubs as well as shops, restaurants, and tea rooms. Afterwards, we visit Hastings, famous for its connections to William the Conqueror, Hastings has a long history and home to beautiful historic streets with shops full of character. Return to our hotel with time to relax for last night’s celebratory dinner with live music afterwards.

Day 5

We say farewell to Eastbourne and return to home area stopping in Tenterden, for free time and lunch to be obtained.
