Day 1

UK to Germany
Cross the Channel and travel through France and Belgium with suitable refreshment stops en route. Arrive at our overnight hotel in Germany late afternoon with time to relax before dinner.

Day 2

Germany to Vienna - Embarkation
Continue through Germany into Austria, arriving in Vienna late afternoon to board our A-ROSA ship. Enjoy a welcome cocktail, dinner and evening entertainment as we begin our cruise towards Esztergom.

Day 3

Esztergom to Budapest
Enjoy free time in historic Esztergom, Hungary’s former capital, famous for its impressive basilica overlooking the Danube. Later, cruise towards Budapest, passing the city’s famous Parliament Building and Chain Bridge before arriving late afternoon.

Day 4

Budapest
Discover the beauty of Budapest on our guided tour, taking in both historic Buda and cosmopolitan Pest. Highlights include the Fisherman’s Bastion with its stunning city views. This evening we continue cruising towards Kalocsa.

Day 5

Kalocsa to Mohács to Vukovar
We visit Kalocsa, famous for its paprika production, before continuing to Mohács and Vukovar as we cruise towards Belgrade.

Day 6 & 7

Belgrade, Serbia
Enjoy time in the Serbian capital, where our guided tour includes Belgrade Fortress and St Sava Church. We also visit the charming town of Sremski Karlovci with wine, honey and liqueur tastings before continuing our cruise.

Day 8

Iron Gates Cruising Day
Cruise through the spectacular Iron Gates Gorge, one of the most scenic stretches of the Danube, with dramatic cliffs and breathtaking scenery along the Serbian and Romanian border.

Day 9

Novi Sad, Serbia
Explore Novi Sad, Serbia’s second-largest city, with its impressive Petrovaradin Fortress and charming old town before we continue cruising.

Day 10

Vukovar, Croatia
Visit the historic Croatian town of Vukovar, beautifully located on the Danube and rich in recent history.

Day 11

Vukovar to Osijek - Cruising Day
Enjoy a relaxing day cruising through beautiful riverside scenery whilst making the most of the facilities aboard our A-ROSA ship.

Day 12

Cruising Day towards Bratislava
A leisurely day cruising the Danube towards Slovakia, with plenty of time to relax and enjoy life on board.

Day 13

Bratislava
Arrive in Slovakia’s capital, Bratislava, beautifully set beneath its hilltop castle overlooking the Danube.

Day 14

Bratislava
Enjoy a guided tour of Bratislava’s charming old town before cruising onwards towards Vienna.

Day 15

Vienna
Discover elegant Vienna on our included sightseeing tour. Austria’s capital is famous for its grand palaces, beautiful squares and impressive architecture.

Vienna to Germany
After our memorable cruise, we leave the ship and travel to Germany for our overnight stay.
