Spectacular Liverpool

Liverpool is a city of contrasts, where historic grandeur meets contemporary dynamism. Whether a history buff, a music lover, a sports enthusiast, or simply looking to explore a vibrant city, Liverpool offers something for everyone, ensuring a memorable visit.

Day 1

We depart home area and make our way to Liverpool stopping enroute in the mediaeval city of Lichfield with its famous cathedral with three spires. There are many shops to browse and eateries to obtain lunch before continuing to our hotel

Day 2

See Liverpool’s iconic sights aboard the Mersey Ferry, on this 50-minute cruise we enjoy the best views along the riverside, then visit the fascinating Museum of Liverpool, a magnificent waterfront museum which tells the story of Liverpool and its people. There will be free time for lunch to be purchased before our free afternoon spent in Liverpool’s city centre. Liverpool is a shopper’s paradise and visitors are spoilt for choice at the gleaming city centre shopping mall, Liverpool One. There are also boutique arcades and independent stores.

Day 3

Today we step aboard the colourful Magical Mystery Tour bus for a fun and fascinating 2-hour tour of Beatles Liverpool. We will be kept entertained along the way by one of their professional Beatles Guides and some Fab Four tunes. The tour finishes at the legendary Cavern Club where we can enjoy live music from the Cavern’s resident musicians. We have free time in Liverpool this afternoon to explore.

Day 4

Enjoy the 360° viewing gallery of the Radio City Tower. The observation platform at St Johns Beacon is a unique way to see the ever-changing landscape of Liverpool from 450ft in the sky! Afterwards we visit the famous Royal Albert Dock, now housing a range of museums, restaurants, shops, cafes, and bars along the waterfront.

Day 5

After breakfast we head for home stopping at the National Memorial Arboretum for lunch to be obtained

The Aloft Hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Liverpool, the Grade II listed building blends together the old and the new with contrasting modern bedrooms and facilities.
