Day 1
We arrive at our welcoming hotel in Sidmouth, greeted with a warming glass of mulled wine to start our festive break. Take time to settle in and relax before dinner this evening.
DDay 2
Today we travel to Exeter, where grand architecture and historic streets provide a lovely setting for some Christmas shopping and sightseeing. Admire Exeter Cathedral, one of England’s finest Gothic landmarks, before enjoying a relaxing festive canal cruise, complete with seasonal refreshments and commentary on the city’s history.
B, DDay 3
This morning we visit the heart-warming Donkey Sanctuary, before continuing to Bernaville Nurseries, beautifully decorated for Christmas with gifts, crafts, and winter blooms.
B, DDay 4
Enjoy a leisurely day in Sidmouth. Perhaps stroll along the elegant Esplanade, browse the boutique shops, or simply unwind at the hotel. This afternoon, enjoy tea, coffee and cake, followed by a special farewell dinner and evening entertainment.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast, we begin our journey home, pausing in Salisbury for lunch, the perfect end to our festive coastal escape.
