Celebrate the magic of the season with a festive break in charming Sidmouth, South Devon, at the welcoming Royal York and Faulkner Hotel. Enjoy mulled wine, mince pies, festive dinners, and entertainment each evening in this delightful seaside town.

Day 1

We depart our home area and travel to Sidmouth, making suitable comfort stops en route. Upon arrival, enjoy a warm welcome with mulled wine and mince pies. Settle in, relax, and enjoy the evening meal followed by entertainment.

Day 2

Today, we visit Exeter, with time to explore the enchanting Christmas Market, historic cobbled streets, and stunning Exeter Cathedral. Later, enjoy a festive river cruise on the River Exe with mulled wine and mince pies. Return to the hotel for dinner and evening entertainment.

Day 3

This morning, we visit the nearby Donkey Sanctuary, a heartwarming destination where you can meet rescued donkeys and learn about the sanctuary's important work. This afternoon, we head to Bernaville Nurseries, brimming with spectacular Christmas displays, decorations, and festive treats. Afterward, return to the hotel for dinner and entertainment.

Day 4

Enjoy a day at leisure in Sidmouth, wandering through the twinkling streets, exploring quaint shops, and soaking up the festive atmosphere. This afternoon, relax in the hotel lounge with a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of Christmas cake. The day concludes with a farewell dinner and entertainment.

After breakfast, we depart the hotel and travel home, stopping in Salisbury to purchase lunch before continuing home.
