Stay at the award-winning Winnock Hotel, just a stone's throw from the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, and experience a true Scottish House Party retreat. Enjoy the comforts of home with evening meals provided and unwind each evening with drinks and 2 nights of entertainment, including an authentic Scottish Ceilidh. We've taken care of everything to ensure this holiday is as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.

Day 1

We head to our hotel in Scotland making suitable comfort stops. Time to freshen up before our evening meal.

Day 2

After a leisurely breakfast enjoy a relaxing scenic coach journey travelling alongside Loch Lomond, a jewel of the Scottish Highlands. We pass Luss, where the TV series 'Take the High Road' was filmed and travel through the Trossachs National Park often referred to as the 'Highlands in Miniature', to the charming town of Inverary, nestled on the western shore of Loch Fyne. Opportunity to visit the 19th century Inverary Jail, step back in time and experience what life was like for the prisoners. Costumed characters animate the past in this unique living museum. (entry extra). Or take a walk around this lovely town with white-washed buildings full of character. Visit the Whisky Shop, the Old Sweet Shop, Woollen Mill, Gift Shops and there are many eateries to obtain refreshments before returning back to our hotel via Callender and the Dukes Pass.

Day 3

Today we visit two of Scotland's cities. Our first visit is nearby Stirling, known as the 'Gateway to the Highlands', overlooked by the magnificent Stirling Castle. Stirling is Scotland's smallest city and is steeped in history. The city centre is a pleasant mix of pedestrianised streets with excellent shopping facilities and restaurants. Enroute we see the Wallace Monument. Opportunity to visit Stirling Castle, the childhood home of Mary Queen of Scots. (extra cost). Afterwards we head north travelling through lush farmland and gentle hills to the delightful city of Perth which lies on the River Tay, Scotland's longest river. As we enter the city we will be greeted by its mix of historic and modern architecture. The city's bustling high street is dotted with shops and cafes inviting us to explore and enjoy local Scottish hospitality. We return to our hotel with time to relax with a drink at the free bar before our evening meal.

Day 4

After breakfast we visit 'The Kelpies', a pair of colossal horse-head sculptures standing 98 feet tall, these iconic structures are the largest equine sculptures in the world and one of Scotland's most striking modern landmarks. Afterwards we visit the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh, known for its stunning architecture, scenic landscapes and shops, this city offers a captivating experience for everyone. Edinburgh Castle perched on volcanic rock dominates the skyline and has played a crucial role in Scottish history. We leave the coach by the Castle near the Royal Mile where there are plenty of shops and eateries for refreshments. We return to our hotel afterwards

The Winnock Hotel, Drymen ***

A very warm welcome awaits us at The Winnock, an award-winning hotel located on the village green in pretty Drymen. The hotel has been hosting groups for more than 30 years and is very successful in delivering quality cuisine, service, and entertainment, There are two restaurants and a relaxing informal bar area. Please note there is no lift, ground floor rooms are available (subject to availability, please enquire at the time of booking).

*Under the terms of the Licensing (Scotland) act 2005, the supply of alcoholic drinks in our All Inclusive Packages is not unlimited. Subject to our discretion in the case of drunkenness, patrons on an All Inclusive Package shall be permitted a maximum of £20 worth of alcoholic drinks per day as part of the package.
