Day 1

We begin with a visit to the medieval market town of Newark, where there’s time to browse the shops and enjoy lunch.

Day 2

Visit the charming village of Grassington, known for its cobbled streets and traditional stone houses. Continue to Skipton on market day*, where you can soak up the lively atmosphere. Enjoy a relaxing canal cruise along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, complete with a delicious cream tea.

Travel through the stunning North York Moors National Park to Whitby, a historic fishing port famous for its dramatic abbey, cobbled streets, and connection to Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Return to Ripon for a free afternoon to explore its cathedral, quaint streets, and independent shops.

Depart via Stamford, a picturesque town often used in period dramas such as Pride and Prejudice, before heading home.

Journey through the breathtaking landscapes of North York Moors National Park to the historic coastal town of Whitby. Overlooked by the dramatic ruins of Whitby Abbey, Whitby is famous for its maritime heritage, narrow cobbled streets and connections to Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Browse the harbour, enjoy traditional fish and chips or explore the town’s many independent shops and tearooms.

Return to the cathedral city of Ripon with free time to explore its charming streets, independent boutiques and the magnificent Ripon Cathedral.

On the return journey, visit the elegant stone town of Stamford, renowned for its beautiful Georgian architecture and appearances in period dramas including Pride and Prejudice.
