There is a reason why this river still one of the most important and busiest when it comes to river cruising. The Romantic Rhine Valley offers magical and fairytale landscapes, numerous castles, grand cathedrals, age-old winelands, and picturesque villages to discover along the water. We also cruise along the Moselle, Europes peaceful waterway visiting enchanting Cochem, and the Main where we visit Frankfurt City and Main Tower.
Day 1
Strasbourg
We depart home area and travel to Folkestone for our Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. We travel through France making suitable comfort stops and arrive approx. 6pm in Strasbourg where we are welcomed aboard our ship. After comfortably settling into our cabins, we’ll be introduced to the crew with a welcome cocktail and will be informed by the ship’s Head Chef what delights he has prepared for our evening meal. Afterwards we board a canal boat for a our guided tour of Strasbourg by night along the waterways. This is a magical way to see Strasbourg. We return to our ship for a nightcap before retiring to our cabin. The ship sails through the night to Frankfurt.
Day 2
Strasbourg to Frankfurt (the Main)
We cruise along the Main this morning towards Frankfurt arriving after lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a panoramic tour of Frankfurt ‘Mainhattan’ and the Main Tower experience. Return to ship for our evening meal followed by entertainment.
Day 3
Frankfurt to Cochem (the Moselle)
This morning we cruise the Rhine passing Mainz, Rüdesheim and Boppard to Koblenz, situated on the Deutsches Eck (where the Rhine meets the Moselle) and pass Oberfell, Alken and Müden to Cochem. After lunch a land train will be waiting to take us to Cochem Castle, which stands high above the Moselle river, for a guided tour. Enjoy free time in this picturesque medieval town. Opportunity to take a land train to show us some of the sights of Cochem (approx. €9). Return to ship for our evening meal.
Day 4
Cochem to Koblenz (the Moselle)
During the morning, our ship will sail along the Moselle to Koblenz. Opportunity to explore the old city of Koblenz after lunch. Karen will walk to the Deutches Eck and into the old city. Return to our ship for evening meal followed by entertainment.
Day 5
Koblenz to Rüdesheim (the Rhine)
This morning is sailing, we arrive in picturesque Rüdesheim in the afternoon. A land train will take us to ‘Adolfs’ for an entertaining wine tasting followed by a guided tour of Siegfrieds Mechanical Musical Museum displaying over 400 self-playing musical instruments. Free time afterwards to join Karen for a ‘Rüdesheimer Coffee’ in one of the lovely taverns situated in the famous Drosselgasse.
Day 6
Rüdesheim to Mannheim (the Rhine & the Main)
In the morning our ship will sail towards Mannheim. After lunch we board our coach for an excursion to Heidelberg with a visit to the castle and the old city. Tonight is gala dinner and evening. Tonight our ship sails for Strasbourg.
Day 7
Mannheim to Strasbourg and home
After breakfast, we make our way home making suitable refreshment stops.

Named after one of the most famous impressionist painters, Claude Monet. The decoration is refined and its atmosphere, both elegant and friendly, is in perfect harmony with its environment. The restaurant, located on the upper deck, offers a delicate cuisine in a refined setting. Large windows provide panoramic views. On the same level is the lounge/bar area with a dance floor, while on the sun deck, an ideal place to relax and admire the l andscapes, passengers can enjoy comfortable sun loungers, as well as a large, shaded area.
