To charming Paignton with comfort stops en-route.

This afternoon visit Bygones museum with nostalgic treasures, a recreated Victorian street, steam train, and WWI trench, and afterwards visit Babbacombe Model Village for its magical Christmas in Miniature, twinkling lights, festive displays, and miniature winter scenes creating seasonal charm. Tonight, a five-course Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings and a visit from Father Christmas.

See the famous miniature world transformed for the festive season with twinkling lights, seasonal displays and enchanting winter scenes. Back at the hotel, the festivities continue with a five-course Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings, complete with a special visit from Father Christmas.

Exeter Cathedral Christmas Market & Festive River Cruise

Experience the seasonal atmosphere of Exeter Cathedral Christmas Market, beautifully situated in the heart of the historic city. Browse the festive chalets for gifts, crafts and tempting seasonal treats, with the magnificent Exeter Cathedral providing an impressive backdrop. Later, sit back and relax on an included festive River Exe cruise, complete with mulled wine, mince pies and live commentary – a lovely way to enjoy Devon's scenery during the festive season.

Newton Abbot & House of Marbles

Explore Newton Abbot, a traditional Devon market town where there is time to browse its bustling market and town centre. We then visit the fascinating House of Marbles, known for its glassmaking, impressive marble runs and quirky displays. Watch skilled craftspeople at work, browse the gift shop and perhaps enjoy a homemade treat in the welcoming café.

Our journey home includes a visit to picturesque Shaftesbury, an attractive Dorset hilltop town famous for the beautiful cobbled Gold Hill. Enjoy some free time to explore before we continue our journey home.
