New Year in Snowdonia, North Wales

Welcome in the New Year with a programme packed with evening entertainment at the Royal Victoria Hotel, Snowdonia. See the glorious views of Snowdonia’s National Park from your hotel. With amazing scenery, attentive staff and plenty of food, is there a better way to see the New Year in?

Day 1

Depart home area and make our way to our hotel in Llanberis. Upon arrival we enjoy a cup of tea/coffee whilst our luggage is taken to our room. Time to freshen up before our evening meal

Day 2

New Year’s Eve
After our Welsh breakfast join the coach for a scenic tour of the Snowdonia National Park. We stop at the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed nestled on the edge of the National Park. Time here to explore before continuing our scenic tour to the harbour town of Porthmadog for lunch to be obtained. Return to our hotel with time to relax before our Gala New Year’s Eve dinner followed by music and dancing

Day 3

New Year’s Day
After breakfast we visit the royal town of Caernarfon which is home to Wales’ most famous castle. There are plenty of interesting shops, galleries, cafes, and some traditional pubs too. Re-join the coach for a scenic coastal ride to Conwy, a brilliant medieval harbour town which sits on the mouth of the river Conwy looking across a fleet of little fishing boats to the Irish Sea. The 13th century castle dominates proceedings, along with the town walls. The town is home to many delightful independent shops, as well as some unexpected gems like the smallest house in Britain. Tonight, after dinner enjoy our last evening of entertainment.

Day 4

We depart our hotel after breakfast and make our way home stopping in Shrewsbury for lunch to be obtained.

THE ROYAL VICTORIA HOTEL, LLANBERIS ***

Few hotels can command such breathtaking views as the Royal Victoria Snowdonia Hotel, nestling between the twin lakes of Padarn and Peris, at the foot of Mount Snowdon. The welcome here is warm and genuine and the atmosphere is complete relaxation. The restaurant enjoys lovely views, and the public bars are a great place to meet before your evening meal.

Please note: The hotel does have a lift, but not to all floors. Please ask when booking if you need a room near a lift to let us know. The single-bedded rooms at this hotel are cozy with small standard-sized beds.
