Keukenhof & Amsterdam, Holland

Visit the amazing Netherlands with over 1000 windmills, fields full of multicoloured tulips, beautiful canals, and buildings with amazing architecture. Keueknhof has been open since 1950, making 2024 their 73rd year! The Garden have received over 50 million visitors since their first opening. We also visit amazing Amsterdam with over 160 canals, 1700 bridges which has been given the name ‘Venice of the North’.

Day 1

Depart home area and cross by Eurotunnel to France, and into Belgium and stop in Ghent, Belgium's best kept secret, for lunch to be purchased. An important port, Ghent's city centre is a pedestrian area that is like a museum to early Flemish architecture and a testament to the city's medieval might. Afterwards continue into Holland where we will arrive at our hotel with time to freshen up before our evening meal.

Day 2

After breakfast visit Keukenhof, the most beautiful spring garden in the world but first we visit a shop where we can purchase the best Dutch flower bulbs at the most competitive prices. There are more than 8 million bulbs in bloom each spring in Keukenhof, with a total of 800 varieties of tulips. A unique and unforgettable experience!

Day 3

After breakfast we travel to Amsterdam for a day to explore. There will be opportunity for a canal ride along the waterways of Amsterdam. This is the best way to see Amsterdam (approx. €15 per person). Browse the many shops and take the opportunity to purchase lunch in one of the many restaurants.

Day 4

After breakfast check out of the hotel and return home. Time to purchase lunch in Antwerp before our return Eurotunnel crossing.

With its ideal location on the shores of the Loosdrechtse Plassen, this modern 4-star hotel is the perfect base for our tour. It is a 10-minute walk away from the beach. The hotel’s Restaurant Smaakmakers offers culinary treats in a relaxed setting. Please note this hotel does not have rooms with walk in showers.
