Keukenhof & Amsterdam, Holland

Visit the amazing Netherlands with over 1,000 windmills, fields of tulips in every colour, beautiful canals, and remarkable architecture. Keukenhof Gardens, open since 1950, will celebrate its 75th year in 2025, having welcomed over 54 million visitors. This tour also includes Amsterdam, with its 160 canals, 1,700 bridges, and a visit to a traditional Dutch cheese and clog farm.

Day 1

We depart from the home area and head to our channel crossing to France, continuing to our hotel with suitable comfort stops along the way.

Day 2

After breakfast, we visit Keukenhof, the world’s most beautiful spring garden. Each spring, over 8 million bulbs bloom here, showcasing 800 varieties of tulips for a unique experience.
We then visit Rudi’s for an opportunity to purchase top-quality Dutch flower bulbs. Later, we visit Clara Maria, a 160-year-old farm where traditional Dutch clogs and cheeses are crafted. Enjoy
demonstrations, tastings, and an array of quality gifts.

Day 3

Today we travel to Amsterdam for a full day of exploration. Take the opportunity to see the city’s sights from the canals on a scenic ride (approx. €20 per person), browse the many shops, and
enjoy lunch at one of the city’s diverse restaurants. We return to our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 4

After breakfast, we visit Ghent, Belgium’s hidden gem, for lunch. With its pedestrianised city centre, Ghent is a showcase of early Flemish architecture and a perfect end to our journey before
our return crossing and travel home.

This hotel is located in the village of Made, just 5km from the edge of the Biesbosch National Park. The modern restaurant, Fundi, serves elegant cuisine, and the hotel also has a pub. All ensuite bedrooms are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and a TV.
