Day 1

To Babbacombe, stopping en-route for lunch at elegant Stourhead near Wincanton.

Day 2

Visit Buckfast Abbey, a peaceful working monastery set in beautiful surroundings, then a scenic drive across Dartmoor National Park to charming Widecombe-in-the-Moor. This afternoon visit the fascinating House of Marbles - watch traditional glassmaking, browse the gift shop, opportunity to purchase refreshments at the café.

Enjoy a coastal drive to Teignmouth and Dawlish, both traditional seaside towns with sandy beaches and attractive promenades.

Visit Exeter, rich in history with its impressive cathedral, before continuing to Exmouth for a relaxing boat trip along the River Exe.

A highlight of the holiday is the visit to Buckfast Abbey, a peaceful working Benedictine monastery set within beautiful grounds on the edge of Dartmoor. Explore the abbey church, gardens and visitor centre whilst enjoying the tranquil atmosphere.

Continue with a scenic drive across the rugged landscapes of Dartmoor National Park to the picturesque village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor, famous for its traditional stone cottages, village green and stunning moorland setting.

Visit the fascinating House of Marbles where visitors can watch traditional glassmaking demonstrations, browse unique gifts and enjoy refreshments in the café.

Enjoy a scenic coastal excursion to the traditional seaside towns of Teignmouth and Dawlish, both known for their sandy beaches, attractive promenades and classic Devon seaside charm.

Explore the historic cathedral city of Exeter, home to the magnificent Exeter Cathedral, Roman history and a vibrant shopping centre. Later, continue to the coastal town of Exmouth for a relaxing cruise along the beautiful River Exe, offering peaceful scenery and wonderful views of the surrounding estuary.

On the return journey, pause in the historic cathedral city of Salisbury before travelling home.
