Canterbury, Kent

Canterbury’s skyline is dominated by the stunning cathedral, the oldest in England. Although Canterbury is a place steeped in tradition; it is also a vibrant city. Many of the high street names are here as well as independent retailers. Alternatively, you may wish to relax and absorb the wonder of the city down by the river Great Stour or in one of the many cafés and restaurants.

Here’s our recommendation of what to see and do whilst visiting...

Cambridge City Centre & Shopping

  • Take time to explore the city centre, with its mix of historic streets, independent shops, and well-known brands.

  • Browse boutiques, pick up unique gifts, or stop in one of the many cafés and restaurants for a relaxing break.

Cambridge University & Colleges

  • Explore the world-famous University of Cambridge, made up of stunning historic colleges set around the city.

  • Admire the beautiful architecture, wander past grand entrances and courtyards, and soak up the unique academic atmosphere that defines Cambridge.

River Cam & Punting

  • Enjoy a relaxing experience along the River Cam, where you can watch — or even try — traditional punting.

  • Glide past the backs of the colleges and take in some of the most picturesque views in the city.

King’s College Chapel

  • One of the most iconic buildings in Cambridge, King’s College Chapel is renowned for its magnificent Gothic architecture.

  • Step inside to see the breathtaking fan-vaulted ceiling and stunning stained glass windows — a true highlight of any visit.
