Experience the magic of Bavaria on this enchanting holiday, combining breathtaking scenery, traditional charm and unique experiences. From crystal creations and carriage rides to huskies and hilltop views, this tour offers a true taste of Germany at its most captivating.

Day 1

We travel to Saarbrücken, crossing the Channel and journeying through France into Germany. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at our comfortable hotel.

Day 2

Continuing through Germany, we pause in the beautiful city of Heidelberg, famed for its romantic old town and riverside castle, before arriving at our welcoming Bavarian hotel. Relax before dinner this evening.

Day 3

This morning we visit the fascinating Joska World of Crystal, showcasing stunning glass art and craftsmanship. In the afternoon, enjoy a charming horse-drawn carriage ride through the Bavarian countryside, complete with sandwiches and live music.

Day 4

Join a easy paced guided walking tour of picturesque Passau, known as the “City of Three Rivers,” followed by free time to explore its colourful streets. This evening, enjoy a fun quiz night at the hotel.

Day 5

A memorable visit awaits at a Husky Farm, where you’ll meet the friendly dogs, enjoy a talk from an Olympic champion and warm up with a hot drink. Later, take in panoramic views along the incredible Tree Top Walk in Neuschönau.

Day 6

We begin our journey home, stopping overnight in Rudesheim, Germany with suitable comfort breaks. In the evening join Karen for a walk down the famous Drosselgasse and treat yourself to a famous Rudesheimer Coffee (made with brandy).

Return home, crossing the channel and making comfort stops.

HOHENAUER HOF, GERMANY ***

Located in the very centre of the charming Bavarian village of Hohenau, the family run Hohenauer Hof offers easy access to the Bavarian Forest. All rooms have either a balcony offering views over the village and surrounding countryside, or a terrace area. The Hohenauer Hof's cosy restaurant serves fresh dishes for their traditional meals. Guests can enjoy the hotel leisure facilities, including an indoor pool and sauna.
