Beauty of the Pembrokeshire Coast

Pembrokeshire has it all – stunning scenery, a spectacular coastline with miles of perfect sandy beaches, great attractions and a very walm Welsh welcome. The scenery on its own is fabulous and we spoil you even more by taking you to Tenby. Our hotel, the family-owned Cliff Hotel & Spa is located on the coast of Cardigan Bay overlooking Poppit Sands and Cardigan Island and has expansive beautiful hotel grounds.

Day 1

Depart home area and travel to our hotel in Cardigan, making suitable refreshment stops along the way. We will receive a warm welcome by the hotel and can enjoy a cup of tea/coffee whilst our luggage is taken to our rooms.

Day 2

Packed lunch provided by the hotel. Today we have a free morning in the ancient town of Cardigan, situated on the River Telfi estuary. Time to look around the shops before we travel along the stunning coastline to Aberystwyth, a historical market town nestled between three hills. We board the Vale of Rheidol Railway for a relaxing return journey travelling through some of Wales' spectacular scenery from Aberystwyth to Devil's Bridge; the finest way to explore the Rheidol Valley. We return to our hotel with time to relax before our evening meal followed by entertainment.

Day 3

Spend the day at leisure in the pretty picture postcard town of Tenby. Stroll around the picturesque harbour, browse the shops or visit the Tenby Museum (entry extra). There are plenty of cafes and restaurants here for lunch to be purchased.

Day 4

After breakfast we pick up our packed lunch from the hotel and board our coach for a scenic tour of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Visit charming St. David's, the smallest city in Britain. Spend time strolling around the lanes, browsing the shops or visiting the cathedral. Afterwards, we continue along the coastal road to Saundersfoot, a small seaside resort which has charm and character. After dinner we can enjoy an evening of entertainment.

We depart our hotel and return to home area making suitable refreshment stops.

Set on a hillside overlooking the Irish Sea, with bright rooms providing complimentary Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, as well as tea and coffeemaking facilities. There's a contemporary restaurant and bar with a terrace that overlooks the sea, in addition to a spa and a gym. Other amenities include a 9-hole golf course.
