Bath, Somerset

Nourished by natural hot springs, Bath offers a unique experience with stunning architecture, great shopping and iconic attractions. The city centre is compact and easily walkable with grand Georgian streets and small picturesque passageways to explore. If you are looking for somewhere to eat you will certainly not be disappointed, a city renowned for great hospitality, Bath’s streets are full of wonderful quaint tea rooms and welcoming, cosy pubs.

Here’s our recommendation of what to see and do whilst visiting...

The Roman Baths - Step back in time at the remarkably well-preserved Roman Baths, one of Britain’s most famous historic sites.

  • Explore the ancient bathing complex, see the steaming Great Bath, and discover how this fascinating site was used nearly 2,000 years ago.

Bath Abbey

  • Standing proudly in the heart of the city, Bath Abbey is a magnificent example of Gothic architecture.

  • Step inside to admire its stunning stained glass windows and intricate stonework, or simply take in its beauty from the surrounding square.

Royal Crescent & The Circus

  • Take a stroll to the iconic Royal Crescent, a sweeping row of Georgian townhouses overlooking peaceful green space.

  • Nearby, The Circus offers another architectural highlight with its perfectly circular design — both are ideal for a scenic walk and photos.

Pulteney Bridge & Riverside Walks - Visit the picturesque Pulteney Bridge, one of the few bridges in the world lined with shops.

  • From here, enjoy a gentle walk along the river, taking in the views of the weir and surrounding historic buildings — a perfect spot to relax and unwind.
