Day 1

We depart home area and cross the Channel to France, continuing to Germany arriving at our overnight hotel, in Saarbrücken.

Day 2

We continue via the beautiful medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, renowned for its perfectly preserved walls, cobbled streets and halftimbered houses. Then through scenic Bavaria into Austria, and the Alpine resort of Lermoos.

A day at leisure in Lermoos, enjoying the peaceful Alpine setting and hotel facilities, with the option to take a nearby cable car into the mountains for spectacular views.

Day 4

We visit the impressive Ehrenberg Castle Complex. Explore the ruins, take the optional lift, or experience the thrilling Highline179 (extra cost).

Day 5

To Innsbruck, famous for its Golden Roof and charming Old Town. We visit the Bergisel Ski Jump for panoramic views and a coffee with apple strudel.

Day 6

We enjoy a scenic drive to Plansee for a relaxing boat cruise across crystal-clear waters surrounded by mountains. We continue to the picturesque Bavarian town of Mittenwald, known for its painted houses and wooden chalets.

We retrace our journey through Germany, to our overnight hotel.

A highlight of the journey south is the visit to the beautifully preserved medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Famous for its half-timbered houses, ancient city walls and cobbled streets, Rothenburg is often regarded as one of Germany’s most enchanting towns.

Enjoy free time in Lermoos, where guests can relax and admire the magnificent Alpine scenery or choose to take a cable car into the mountains for breathtaking panoramic views across the Tyrol.

Discover the fascinating Ehrenberg Castle Complex, one of the region’s most impressive historic sites. Explore atmospheric castle ruins and enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding valleys. For those seeking an extra thrill, the famous Highline179 suspension bridge offers a unique experience high above the landscape.

Visit the elegant Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck, beautifully set amongst towering mountain peaks. Explore the charming Old Town, admire the famous Golden Roof and soak up the atmosphere of this historic Alpine city.
