You have booked your day out; you have marked it on the calendar and you are waiting for that day to arrive! Generally, you are excited and so you should be, but we want to keep that excitement going until you arrive back home… or you’re reluctantly being dragged there by your partner or friend – don’t worry, this is for you too  
 
Whether this is your first day trip by coach or your 100^th, we want to make sure that you get the most out of your day out.
 
This quick read we look at some of the things you can do to make the most out of your time with us 
 
Google where you are going – Seems obvious right? 
 
This is extremely valuable, whether you are visiting a house, gardens, town, seaside, theatre and everything in between. You can plan what to do, what restaurant to go to, or at the very least where to go where there is a choice of restaurants or points of interest (and the fastest way there) this means you can cut out any wasted time wondering around and asking locals for directions. 
 
If it is a House and Gardens, you will find what facilities they have on site and choose whether to eat at the restaurant or bring a lunch or a picnic to enjoy in the grounds. 
 
Weather – but don’t rely too much on the weather presenter 
 
We don’t expect a Michael Fish type of mistake, but we do know that weather is unpredictable in this country. It is always worth a quick look online ‘weather in …’ the day before you travel. This saves you asking the driver to craft you make shift waterproofs out of a bin bag to stop you getting wet! Equally it will help you know whether you need to plan for more inside or outside activities wherever you are going. 
 
Book early – ok, so this might sound like a marketing ploy, it isn’t.
 
Choice is always easier if you have more to choose, what is your preferred seat on the coach, where is your preferred pick-up point and you aren’t left with a limited choice or miss out on a day out altogether. Where you sit on a coach might not bother you – but sometimes we all like a little bit of choice after all.
