COACH HOLIDAY ITINERARY
DAY 1 We head to the hotel in Penzance with comfort stops along the way. Lunch can be purchased in Salisbury and then we continue our journey to the Jamaica Inn on the Bodmin Moors, arriving at the hotel where we have a cup of tea/coffee on arrival followed by time to freshen up before our evening meal.
DAY 2 After breakfast we visit Falmouth, based around a thriving harbour and is the gateway to the beautiful Fal River, which runs through an area of natural beauty. After we’ve had lunch, we head back to the hotel where we will be served our cream tea. We have time to relax here before our evening meal.
DAY 3 After breakfast, we enjoy free time in Truro, Cornwall’s county town and only city. Truro Cathedral is centre stage with its impressive gothic towers ruling the skyline. In its shadow, compact streets are home to an impressive collection of independent traders. From boutiques to bookshops and designer interiors to delicatessens, this great little city offers a unique shopping experience for everyone to enjoy. There is an alternative to this day out, with an opportunity to visit the Eden Project (price not included, approx £27.50pp) for those who do not wish to stay in Truro.
DAY 4 After breakfast today we visit Land’s End, one of Britain’s most magnificent landmarks offering stunning scenery and great places to eat. In the afternoon enjoy a spectacular scenic coastal drive to St. Ives, one of Cornwall’s famous destinations surrounded by fantastic beaches, art galleries and restaurants. We arrive back at the hotel in time to freshen up before our evening meal.
DAY 5 After breakfast, we start our return journey with comfort stops along the way, including time to purchase lunch at Shaftesbury.
