COACH HOLIDAY ITINERARY
DAY 1 Travel to Bristol making suitable comfort stops along the way. The Christmas Market features decorated chalets selling traditional Christmas decorations, lights, nativity scenes and gifts as well as delicious festive food and drink. The markets are located along the pedestrianised streets of Broadmead, Bristol’s Shopping Quarter right in the heart of the city centre shopping area. Time to purchase lunch before heading to the hotel in the Bath area with time to freshen up before our evening meal.
DAY 2 After breakfast travel a short distance to Bath city centre. Visiting Bath at Christmas is a truly magical experience, and the world-renowned Bath Christmas Market is certainly the sparkling centrepiece. There are over 200 twinkling chalets spread out across the picturesque Georgian streets selling handmade and local Christmas gifts.Whilst at the Market we'll find a range of excellent food, perfect for warming us up on a crisp winter’s day. The memorable atmosphere, created by the hustle and bustle of the market infused by aromas of festive, warming food, is bound to get us in the Christmas spirit. The city also boasts a unique mix of independents, designer boutiques and high street brands. Return to the hotel later for our evening meal.
DAY 3 After breakfast travel back to home area stopping at Winchester for lunch to be purchased. The city justly claims to be England’s Christmas Capital and its Cathedral is at the heart of the festivities, with a stunning Christmas Market and real Ice Rink dominating its beautiful and historic Close. It has achieved a reputation as being amongst the very best in Europe. Within the stunning surroundings of the Cathedral’s historic Inner and Outer Close we’ll find over 100 attractive wooden chalets brimming with goodies.
