Outward journey via Coventry with opportunity to visit the Transport Museum and obtain lunch.

Visit the National Brewery Centre for a guided tour which starts with a holographic-style presentation of the history of brewing. Then your experienced guides take you through each step of the brewing process, and explain the fascinating roles that the steam engines and vintage vehicles on show played in the development of the industry. The William Worthington microbrewery brings the tour up to the present day - with the chance to sample some great local ales brewed on site! There is a restaurant on site where you can obtain lunch. Free time afterwards in Burton on Trent before returning to hotel.

Enjoy a single journey on the Severn valley Railway from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster and afterwards spend an afternoon in Worcester, a beautiful and lively cathedral city. Wander around the medieval streets and browse the independent shops, or take the opportunity to visit the cathedral and even take a trip on the canal.

Visit Shrewsbury, set amidst glorious countryside near to the Welsh Borders, it is one of England’s finest medieval market towns. But stuck in the past it is not! The town centre is packed with timber-framed black & white buildings, steep narrow streets and alleyways. In fact, it boasts over 600 listed buildings including the Castle, now a regimental museum and the world-famous Shrewsbury Abbey, home of the fictional Brother Cadfael.

Return journey via the historic town Stratford upon Avon, situated along the banks of the River Avon.
