Day 1

We journey north, arriving at our welcoming hotel, the perfect base for exploring the Lake District.

Day 2

To Ambleside, home to the iconic Bridge House, before a scenic drive past Rydal Water. Enjoy a cruise on Ullswater with beautiful winter views.

To the Coffee House at Kennedys Fine Chocolates’, a family-run chocolatier, then to Kendal on market day*, for lunch, shopping, and browsing lively stalls.

Explore the historic streets of Carlisle, then relax at Houghton Hall Garden Centre, browse plants, gifts, and enjoy a cup of tea in the café.

To Keswick with time to explore its shops and cafés, before continuing via Grasmere to Hawkshead with its cobbled streets and historic character.
