COACH HOLIDAY ITINERARY
DAY 1 Depart home area and head to Pitlochry making suitable comfort stops along the way, including somewhere suitable to purchase lunch. We arrive at the hotel ready to freshen up before our evening meal.
DAY 2 After breakfast visit Blair Castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. Over 700 years of Scottish history are on display across 30 rooms. The Castle sits at the hub of a breath-taking historic landscape and the gardens and grounds feature a 9-acre walled garden, a peaceful wooded grove, a ruined kirk, a red deer park and a whimsical Gothic folly. Return to the hotel later for our evening meal.
DAY 3 After breakfast we have a free day in Pitlochry before returning to the hotel for our evening meal. It is this evening that we experience the Enchanted Forest Show in Faskally Wood. This is a multi-award-winning show that is becoming renowned as Scotland’s premier light and sound experience, attracting thousands of visitors every October. Using the forest as a natural backdrop, experience a lighting show that is set to original orchestral music. It truly is a remarkable experience. This event has been named Best Cultural Event in Scotland for a third time and received a Commendation for Best Large Event.
DAY 4 After breakfast enjoy a scenic coach tour of the Highlands. We travel to Fort William, situated in the western Scottish Highlands on the shores of Loch Linnhe. It is the gateway to Ben Nevis and the Glen Nevis valley. Free time to discover Fort William before returning to our hotel with a stop at Queens View – one of the outstanding beauty spots where a panorama of lake and mountain scenery stretches westwards as far as the Glen Coe hills on a clear day.
DAY 5 After breakfast travel back to home area making suitable comfort stops along the way, including somewhere suitable to purchase lunch.
