COACH HOLIDAY ITINERARY
DAY 1 We depart our home area and head to the hotel in Bristol making suitable comfort stops along the way, including a stop in Marlborough for lunch to be purchased. We arrive at the hotel with in time to freshen up before our evening meal.
DAY 2 After breakfast we visit Gloucester for the Tall Ships Festival where some of the Tall Ships will be moored up on the quayside for visitors to see. The festival starts at 10am today with the arrival of the tall ships into Britain’s most inland port*. There will be a raft of entertainment featuring marauding pirates (including Captain Jack Sparrow), nautical activities, fun games for children and grownups, a food market and more! There are live music stages featuring a selection of local bands and singers as well as the return of the essential Gloucester Shanty Festival. We have the whole day here to explore the area and everything on offer at this maritime festival before heading back to the hotel in time to freshen up before our evening meal.
DAY 3 After breakfast enjoy a guided coach tour of Bristol. See the world-famous Clifton Suspension Bridge designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and Queens Square, a magnificent park area in the heart of Bristol. See St Marys Redcliffe Church, one of the most beautiful churches in all of England and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in the country. There will be free time in Bristol for lunch to be purchased and to look around the array of shops before returning to the hotel for our evening meal.
DAY 4 Bank Holiday Monday: After breakfast, we travel back to our home area stopping in Bath for free time and lunch to be purchased before continuing to home area
